Hiragana/Katakana in 48 minutes includes Japanese language workbooks designed for Year 7–10 students learning to read and write Japanese.

For Hiragana/Katakana in 48 minutes, Nikki M Group typeset 220 pages in total. This included two workbooks and a series of individual worksheets.

Japanese exercises are arranged into a layout designed with enough room for students to write answers directly into the workbook.

The workbooks are saddle stitched with two staples through the spine to hold pages together. This is an economical way to bind workbooks.

The workbooks are typeset using Japanese and English fonts. The fonts are combined together using sets of character and paragraph styles for each language.

Level 3: ガ to ゴ. This section focuses on a set of five katakana characters. The exercises help students to practise reading and writing each Japanese character.

Hiragana/Katakana in 48 minutes are black and white workbooks with a full colour matt laminated softcover. Both books are around 60 pages – ideal for saddle stitch binding.

Each workbook is divided into levels for students to practise reading and writing. There are exercises for pronunciation, pictograms for identification, and step-by-step writing instructions.
