Part of our brief was to develop the content for the models across the series, ensuring alignment with the California Common Core State Standards. The models were intentionally written to break down complex mathematical concepts and foster deep understanding. By incorporating real-world examples, the models prompt students to see math as a practical tool for making sense of a complex world.

We utilised bright, vibrant colors, varying stroke weights and an isometric grid to create a unique and instantly recognisable grade number. This visual treatment alludes to core mathematical concepts like geometry and patterns, enriching the learning experience before students turn the first page.
The internal pages feature a text design that prioritises readability and a clear hierarchy to maximise learning opportunities. Careful consideration was given to the choice of fonts to ensure the legibility of equations, while the intentional use of colour guides students through each unit and lesson, visually reinforcing key mathematical concepts.
